Karan Johar keen to work with Aishwarya Rai?

If grapevine is to be believed, Karan Johar is toying with the idea of finally working with.

Aishwarya Rai, with whom he hasn’t made a single project in his over decade-long career.

"Karan said that Aishwarya is his ideal heroine and all the scripts that he writes are keeping her in mind.

He also said that various reasons have veered them from working together. But he is hoping that it is the right time.

That he gets her to work in his production sometime soon," a source, who overheard Karan’s conversation with director.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, told IANS on condition of anonymity. The two filmmakers were discussing Aishwarya at Sonali Bendre’s birthday party Dec 31.

Aishwarya Rai & Rajni Endhiiran on Sets

Story:Endhiran, the Robot’, the tenth film by S.Shankar, stars Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead. Rajnikanth reportedly plays a double role i the movie – as scientist Vaseegaran and as the robot developed by him. The film, expected to cost a whopping Rs 180 crore, may turn out to be the costliest film in India. AR Rahman composes the music for which he would be paid Rs 10 crore, it is rumoured.

The film was originally supposed to be produced by Ayngaran International, who backed out of the film midway through. Now, the film is being produced by Sun Pictures. The robot made in Rajnikanth’s likeness and the futuristic costumes esigned for the superstar have already become the rage among cinegoers

Well, what can one say when an astounding beauty like Aishwarya Rai is shooting right under one’s nose? Nothing except admire her for her beauty of course. That’s not what our chocolate boy hero of bollywood did when he had seen her several years ago shooting for his dad’s home production.

The film was Aa Ab Laut Chale, this was Rishi Kapoor’s film and it starred Aishwarya with Akshay Khanna among other artists.

It so happened that Ranbir Kapoor would go to see the shooting everyday and he really became an ardent fan of her. So, he started to make paintings of her during the shooting itself. He hid himself and painted to avoid embarrassment. But, Aishwarya knew about it and she also did not want to embarrass the teenager so she said nothing to him.

Now, it so happened that during the premier of Paa when Ranbir had gone to see it, Aishwarya suddenly remembered the incident and told Abhishek about it. According to reports Ranbir was so embarrassed that he immediately left the venue.

Now what can one say? The sweet gesture by this sweet actor has to be appreciated; it is really an honour for anyone to have such ardent fans isn’t it?

Aishwarya meets her former lovers

It seems all of a sudden she has been meeting her beaus suddenly. Of course the film fraternity is also a round world and people keep meeting each other for good or bad.

She met Salman Khan at the Mehboob Studios and the best thing neither of them reacted.

Aishwarya completely ignored him and acted as if he did not even see him. Salman on the other hand was quite normal before her arrival.

But the moment she arrived he became serious all of a sudden. After this it was Vivek Oberoi’s turn.

Katrina Kaif is world’s sexiest Asian woman

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has retained the top spot in an annual list of the world’s 50 sexiest Asian women unveiled on Friday. The Bollywood babe beat off tough competition from other actresses, former beauty queens, models and pop stars to hold on to the Eastern Eye crown she won last year.

Indian actresses took eight of the top 10 spots, with British television star Laila Rouass and Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat completing the list. The top 10 of the Eastern Eye 50 Sexiest Asian Women are: Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Freida Pinto, Laila Rouass, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Mehwish Hayat and Deepika Padukone.

If Amitabh Bachchan has shown the way, could bahurani Aishwarya Rai Bachchan be far behind? Big B pulled off the role of a 13-year-old kid suffering from progeria for his Balki directed film with a unbelievable transformation through prosthetic make-up and now Ash in her forthcoming Vipul Shah movie Action Replay is going through an equally elaborate makeover to look like an old lady for some scenes.

Apparently even Ash is being given her look by well-known Hollywood make-up artists and the process takes between 4-5 hours. While Amitabh’s Auro was perfected by Christien Tinsley (The Passion of the Christ) and Dominie Till (The Lord Of The Rings trilogy), Ash is getting help from Paul Pattison who has earlier styled Mel Gibson for Braveheart and Tom Cruise for Mission Impossible.

An insider discloses, "The film is most probably about time travel and Ash will be seen playing an old lady in a portion of the movie. She had to patiently give over four hours to get the desired look which took many prior sittings just to be finalised. It was an everyday ordeal to first put on and then remove the make-up. Bachchan too went through a similar experience. But Ash was on time regularly for these sessions."

Swiss watchmaker Longines opened its first exclusive store at ITC Park Sheraton and Towers on Monday in the city. Aishwarya Rai launched the stores and posed with the beautiful pieces of fine art works in her hand. Aishwarya Rai has been an ambassador for the Swiss brand for 10 years now.
